Truro District Scouts - Games Day

October 17^th 2009

Time: 10.00am - 3.30pm

Board games in the morning.

Archery, rifle shooting, football, hockey etc, in the afternoon.

Bring a packed lunch and wear your uniform.

Cost will be £5:00 per Scout

Stithians Produce Market

September 19^th 2009

This will be the first time that the Scouts will have helped to serve refreshments at the Stithians Produce Market.

Raze the Roof

August 12^th 2009

Time: 1.00pm - 4.00pm

The Scouts held a party at Raze the Roof in Penryn.

This was a chance for the Scouts to let off some steam during the long Summer break.

As well as using the climbing equipment, the Scouts also played two games of Laser Tag, the first game as two teams and then every Scout for themselves. The Scouts also had a meal and drinks to cool down on what was a warm day. Then it was back to the climbing equipment.

Meanwhile leaders and parents had a chance to sit and chat over a cup of coffee.

Stithians Litter Pick

2009 - Date to be confirmed

Keeping Stithians tidy, we'll be joining other groups and helping to tidy up the village. Equipment, including litter pickers, gloves and bags will be supplied by Cornwall Council.

We will be assigned our own "safe" area which will be well away from roads, rivers and other dangers.
